You’ve always wanted to make your own website but have been told you’re not a programmer and shouldn’t touch code with a 10-foot pole. It may come as a surprise to hear that front-end web development doesn’t require much technical knowledge or experience, and can be done in just minutes using Python! In this article, we’ll explain how to install Python on any computer, why Python is so useful for web development, and show you how to use Python to create your first HTML/CSS/JavaScript website from scratch.

1) Low learning curve

This is probably one of my favorite reasons why someone should learn Python. The syntax isn’t that difficult, especially compared to some other languages like C++. There are lots of great guides on sites like Reddit and Stack Overflow which makes learning much easier.

2) Speed

Coding in Python is fast. Really fast. The reason it’s so fast is because of its batteries-included approach, which means you don’t have to download any additional libraries or frameworks. While other languages require you to search online for additional functions, with Python everything comes pre-packaged — meaning you can get up and running with your project almost immediately! That speed of coding makes your workflow more efficient than ever before.

3) Ease of prototyping

Developers often begin projects in one language but end up finishing them in another. If you’re interested in learning Python, it’s worth doing so with a side project. As long as you have access to Jupyter Notebook, you can easily start exploring your data and creating prototypes. This will allow you to test your analytics skills — and see how different languages compare in ease of prototyping — before committing full time.

4) Low maintenance costs

If you’re just getting started in programming, you might not want to spend a lot of time learning how to set up your computer with each language you learn. Python, however, is one of the most beginner-friendly languages there is. You can install it on Mac OSX, Windows, and Linux computers with ease. This saves you both time and effort in installation issues when learning how to program in general.

5) Low start-up costs

Everyone knows that software doesn’t come cheap, but what many people don’t realize is that certain programming languages can make your app more expensive than others. Since Python is one of the world’s most accessible programming languages, it has a very low start-up cost; once you learn how to code in Python, you can create applications without having to spend a lot of money on licenses and plugins.
